XL is our mission
We say it as a challenge. We work anywhere, but when we work local, we work at the XL, a 15 thousand sq. ft. studio space with 25 ft. ceilings. Our in house team works with you through concept, production, execution and post as a cohesive unit. Give us your dreams and make them extra large! Be it a two story house with working gutters, a boardroom on the 25th floor, a kitchen for everyday of the week, or even summertime in the middle of winter. Whatever your vision is, we can bring it to life, adjusting and adapting until we have exactly what we need to fulfill your still or video needs. Whether it's a single image or 1500 frames a second, from 5 feet under the glass floor or 25 feet over top of a living room set, we and the XL can make it happen.
Gary Sloan

Gary Sloan has been shooting for over 35 years and shoots in and out of a space we lovingly labeled the XL.
The XL has a lot to offer, a full food styling kitchen designed by one of the countries top food stylist, a full makeup and styling area, a large product prep area, a full workshop for building any set imaginable and a comfortable client lounge with wifi and mirrored monitors to view the action on set.
As a team, we have the ability to design and build pretty much what ever you can dream up, and if we can't do it all in house, we have a long list of support people to make just about anything come to life.
With a hands on technical background, Gary has been shooting digitally since the early 90’s. He is able to utilize the latest equipment and combine images on site to guarantee that you get the image you need. Just as he has for Walmart, Intel, Keurig, iRobot, Home Goods, Princess House, Helen of Troy, Thermacell, Franklin Sports, Shark Vacuums, Ninja Food Processors, Eink, Dunkin Donuts, Reebok, New Balance, Brooklyn Brewery, Tivoli Audio, B&W Speakers and many others.

Meghan Roberts
Producer
Meghan is our in-house producer, She’ll coordinate everything for you, the sets, the products, the stylists, models and she’ll do it with a loud infectious laugh that you’ll love. Meghan is in charge of our TikTok persona and brings all the fun. But she hates cake, go figure.
Clarisse Sugar
Digital and Video tech / Retoucher
Clarisse, AKA ICE, is wonder to have at the studio, She runs our tech, working through any challenges with our Phase One, our Canons, our Red Helium, and even our high frame rate wave camera. She’s trained in graphic design and has the ability to pickup new knowledge and processes like no one we’ve ever had here… also one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
Rosie Forster
Second shooter/ Retoucher
Rosie is smart, and aggressively willing to help any situation. She’s a great asset when the situation calls for a second camera on set or off. As a retoucher she’s able to crank through and help us deliver on time and usually early. Also you might remember seeing her taking care of the dogs in our 8K promotion a few years back. But if you need to talk Boston sports, she’ll talk you a green streak!

Business Manager
Gail has been a very valued partner at the studio since the very beginning, adding a different viewpoint, a ying to Gary's yang. In fact, she is responsible for naming the new studio, the XL. She brings a solid business background and handles all things financial, keeping our world flowing effortlessly.
